Privacy & Security

How EliteRange protects your data

Applied Principles

EliteRange applies data minimization, local/remote compartmentalization, sensitive data encryption, and strong local authentication. iOS permissions are only requested for justified real use.

Data Collection

EliteRange only collects data strictly necessary for the app to function. Your ballistic profiles, target analyses, and training data are stored locally on your device.

Encryption & Storage

Sensitive data (especially the FFTir license) is encrypted using AES-GCM. The cryptographic key is stored in the iOS Keychain with a restrictive access policy. Access can be conditioned on biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID).

Permissions Used

  • Location: automatic weather and Coriolis effects
  • Camera/Photos: target analysis and license scanning
  • Microphone: PAR Timer audio detection
  • Biometrics: sensitive data access protection

We recommend only enabling permissions relevant to your usage.

Feedback Data

User feedback sent through the app is structured and validated. Rate limiting prevents abuse. In support mode, email consent is explicitly requested.

Your Rights

In accordance with GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address provided in the legal notice.

Best Practices

  • Only share necessary exports
  • Protect phone access (passcode + biometrics)
  • Regularly check permission settings
  • Purge unnecessary data in sensitive contexts
